The Booster Juice menu is to be simple, because it is trying to provide customers with a healthy alternative to fast food that tastes good and is nutritious (Diranian, 2011) . The franchise incorporates healthy, strong ingredients such as acai berry, wheatgrass and herbal supplements into its smoothies, shots, shakers, juices and other products (Diranian, 2011) . Each Booster Juice beverage provides Nutritional Breakdown Binder, that will help customers know and check the nutritional value of the beverage they have purchased (Diranian, 2011) . Booster Juice makes its beverages with pure juice, frozen fruit and homemade yogurt (Diranian, 2011) . The chain helps provides warning labels on whey protein products for those who suffer from nut allergies (Diranian, 2011) . The smoothie drinks range between 200 and 500 calories while each Booster shot contains 2 or 3 calories (Diranian, 2011) . However, you may not find the same vitamins, minerals and nutrients in a sugary soda or energy drink as you would in a drink made from fresh fruit (Diranian, 2011) .
My Opinion
The fact the Booster Juice decided to keep a simple menu has worked well for them. A simple menu helps the consumers with deciding what to order and can reduce complications while ordering. It’s good to see Booster Juice take the extra step in making its products more nutritious by adding ingredients such as wheatgrass and acai berry. This step enables them to stand out from competition and prove to their consumers that they are truly pushing for a healthier initiative. Another positive idea Booster Juice has implemented is the Nutritional Breakdown Binder. This is a big asset to the consumer as it provides them the knowledge of what ingredients and how much of it they are consuming. By showing consumers the details of their products, it reflects positively on Booster Juice as it shows they have nothing to hide from their consumers.
Do you believe Booster Juice products are a healthier alternative to other drinks and shakes? What is one ingredient you would like to see in a Booster Juice product?
